Problem Statement

Inefficient supply chain models often result in: (1) Increased waste of raw materials. (2) Hefty fines due to inability to meet regulatory requirements. (3) Lack of material traceability. In order to enhance supply chain performance, many aspects need to be addressed, i.e data quality and corporate planning. Poor quality of the master data, lead times, constraints and costs result in poor planning. As a result, silo-ed plans across distribution, manufacturing and procurement result in excess inventory and costs when demand changes. In turn, a successful supply chain data analytics strategy includes ensuring that internal and external data is brought together in a structured format, focusing the outcome of data projects on what actions need to be taken to move the performance needle, and making sure the results are simple to understand. Apart from efficiency and predictiveness, brands are in need of a supply chain solution which can span across their multiple enterprises and around the globe, and offer a one-eyed view of consumer demand, inventories, and shipments

The X Future uses this open call to find proposals that address challenges faced by the company today. It gives you the opportunity to present your solutions to our innovation team and internal stakeholders.
